20/05/02 - Lobbying for Maximum Working Temperatures for musicians
The British Musicians' Union (BMU) calls for Trade Union Congress (TUC) to apply consistent pressure on Government and the Health & Safety Commission to establish a Maximum Working Temperature within the existing Code of Practice on Workplace Health, Safety and Welfare. Exactly as is done with Minimum Temperatures, special provision can be made for situations that require working in very hot conditions.
